Counselor Apprenticeship Program Set

The Counselor Apprenticeship Program at Deeper Life Ministries is a much needed course for every committed Christian. It presents material essential for mature Christian living. It can benefit all believers, whether or not they wish to counsel others. A good understanding of the nature of God, man, and the relationships between them is much needed in the church today. This course exposes the student to the principles of Christian brotherhood and interaction that is needed not only to help those with problems, but to help prevent them. Expect to be challenged, stretched, and encouraged. You will learn how to face yourself and apply Biblical principles to your daily walk. The course material is excellent, but the involvement in the activities of DLM is encouraging and broadens the course as well. You will be greatly blessed.

Course Objectives:

• To enrich and improve your personal life and relationship with Christ. (Col 2:6-8)
• To help you view all of life, including problem areas, as part of the worship process that takes place within the heart of man. (Mt 6:21; Lk 4:8; Mk 7:20-23)
• To increase your confidence in the sufficiency and superiority of the Scripture for handling personal and interpersonal problems of life. (2 Tim 3:16-17; 1 Pet 1:3)
• To help you understand the place and role of helping each other in the local church. (1 Cor 12:26; Col 3:16)
• To lay a foundation of effective Bible study methods.
• To begin equipping you with Biblical principles and methods needed to effectively disciple others. (Rom 15:14, Eph 4:11-13)
• To introduce you to a variety of challenges that may be faced when trying to help a person struggling with difficulties. (1 Thes 5:14)
